Maharashtra Panchayat Election Results 2023

Elections were held in 12,711 gram panchayats in 34 districts of Maharashtra on Friday. When the counting of votes began on Monday, it continued till late night. The three constituent parties of the ruling Mahavikas Aghadi government, NCP, Shiv Sena and Congress and opposition BJP leaders are claiming their victories. The main opposition BJP has claimed to be the number one party.

Congress bids to win 4000 seats
Maharashtra Congress President and Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat claimed that the Congress has got a majority in more than 4000 gram panchayats. In all gram panchayats of the state, Maha Vikas Aghadi has secured 80% seats. In the election of gram panchayats, the people have expressed confidence in the state government’s one-year work. The Congress is the first in the poll results of Kolhapur, Nandurbar, Latur, Nanded, Amravati, Yavatmal, Nagpur, Wardha, Chandrapur, Usmanabad, Washim and Buldhana districts.

Maharashtra Panchayat Election Results, the ruling coalition Mahavikas Aghadi (Mavia) and opposition BJP are appearing to claim their victories. These elections are not fought on the mark of any party. Nevertheless, all parties want to strengthen their land by the supporters. Out of a total of 27920 gram panchayats in Maharashtra, counting of votes for about half of the gram panchayats was held on Monday. Based on the election results so far, former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis claims that the BJP is getting unprecedented success. According to state BJP president Chandrakant Patil, the BJP has achieved success in more than 6000 gram panchayats.

Thorat claimed that the Congress has had a great success in the Vidarbha region. The Congress has won more than 50 per cent of the gram panchayats there. The Maharashtra Panchayat Election Results department has also increased the percentage of votes along with Congress seats. Ncp chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapche said that we are now collecting data, but we hope that the NCP will win four to four and a half thousand gram panchayats. There was no claim on the Part of Shiv Sena for the Gram Panchayat elections.
